I've gotten a couple of speeding tickets over the years. I've always paid them the next business day (in FL). And each time I went to pay the ticket there was no record yet of the ticket being issued. And each time I've received no points. California and other states may be more on top of it than Florida but just thought I'd throw that option out there.
